Today my students were challenged with a number of activities. Count the number of times you can skip in a minute. Record it. Now do it again with baler twine.

Read a grade-level story. Now do it again, wearing foggy glasses, but with a more difficult text.
Reflect. How did you feel?
The goal was to help them become more insightful with the difficulties some students face in getting through their day, education and life when faced with their challenges.
